Baby Hand and Foot Print Techniques
Magic Prints
Magic Wipes are completely mess free and create very detailed prints on the special paper. This technique is used in the US on newborn babies in hospital so is completely safe! Simply wipe the baby's hand or foot with the magic wet wipe and then press onto the magic paper. A detailed print showing all markings down to the tiny fingerprints will appear. You can then mount, frame or send to us to create some baby hand and foot print gifts!
PROS:
- Very Detailed
- No Mess
- Very Easy
- Easily transportable to take to hospital (get the print while they are tiny!)
CONS:
- Can only be used with the special paper
- only in black
Paint Wipes
A new addition to the Keepsake Co. these paint wipes are similar to the Magic Prints but are in colour! They don't have the detail and do contain paint so there may be a little mess (nothing compared to doing it with a sponge or brush though!)
The paint is almost translusent and can be used on any paper as as it is acid free you can use it in your baby record books!
PROS:
- Colourful
- Can be used anywhere
- Very Easy too
- Easily transportable to take to hospital (get the print while they are tiny!)
CONS:
- Not as detailed as magic prints
- Has a little bit of mess to wipe off the baby but it is all contained within the easy to use wipe
